Spacious & clean room in a beautifully restored building. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Breakfast selection was adequate. Dined in the restaurant for dinner which was excellent. Only negative is the location, a bit far away from V&A waterfront & mall out the front of hotel felt a little unsafe at times.

They did not inform at all of their renovation when booking the hotel. Staff is nice, but also not a great area, really noisy, and rooms are really cold at night. Heating system is not working.

I stayed down the street for a bit during this trip. I was eager for a clean, comfortable room to end my stay. I needed a good night's rest before I took my flight home to the US. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast and dinner options were wonderful and the bed was super comfortable. My room was very clean with a great shower and a wonderful climate control system. I also enjoyed the wine options at the bar. The porters and desk staff were so helpful!

We arrived on Sunday evening after long flight from Dubai, and staff were very welcoming. Hotel appeared a tad shabby-chic or tired not sure which. The room was comfortable and clean, but windows let in all sound of the city around us, so could hear people talking from about 4 am in the street outside. All the staff we interacted with were extremely helpful, food in the restaurant was great, but overall probably wouldn’t come back to it - predominantly down to the fact that the night time noise was a major factor.
