Charming property, quiet, spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast and the ordered gourmet dinner were superior! Friendly and knowledgeable owner.

We loved this quaint boutique hotel in an early 20th century house on beautiful grounds. It was clean, cozy, and inviting. Our host Andy welcomed us, was in tune with our timetable to catch a dive boat the next day, and made a great breakfast. It was conveniently located between Whangarei Falls and the dive port of Tutukaka.

Room was spotless and large. Has all the amenities you need. Sally was friendly and breakfast was lovely. Great home cooked meal. Location slightly away from anywhere

This lodge is a little gem and I’m so glad I stayed! The owner communicated well and was flexible with breakfast so that I could leave early for my diving expedition. The room I stayed in was beautiful and had a real home-like feel. It was very clean. I absolutely loved staying here!

The room was clean, and we had plenty of space. I enjoyed seeing the architecture of the old house, and loved hearing the birds.
