We stayed in crown plaza in Fuzhou and it was a great experience. So we gave Tianjin crown plaza a try. That experience turned out to a huge difference in a negative way. First night checked in to a room with broken fridge and floor covered in human hair. So we had to move to another room the next morning. But the second room wasn’t any better at all. It had a damaged/cracked sink and it had a bad sewer smell in the toilet room. The odor was spreading out to whole room and it became unbearable. This hotel needs lots of maintenance to bring back its glory.

It was a great staying experience at Crown Plaza Jinnan, friendly and helpful staff members and excellent and clean facilities, tasty breakfast with so many options.

It's great that they upgraded my room and the stay is very good. Since attending a conference and everything is smooth and nothing unexpected.

The Hotel is nice and well managed. There is nothing nearby.

The property is good and the staff is courteous and helpful. Rooms are good size and if you are going with kids then extra beds will not restrict movement. However the major negative is connectivity. Taxis are hard to find and I could not see any metro station nearby. In my view good hotel for people who have some time in hand especially holiday makers . Business travelers should weigh the pros and cons . Another problem was was housekeeping and room were not cleaned completely everyday until asked.

We visited Tianjin for a volleyball tournament at International School of Tianjin and this hotel was about 10km away. The area immediately around the school doesn't offer Western style hotels. This hotel is VERY comfortable with spacious rooms and a fantastic buffet breakfast. One evening we ate at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, which offered excellent foot - mapo tofu, delicious ribs, fried green beans with garlic sauce, and good wine list. Also more reasonably priced than other Crowne Plaza properties in Tianjin. One "problem" with this hotel is the lack of shops and restaurants in its more remote location. Nothing within walking distance, but a 10-20 minute cab ride will get you access to shops - about 30-40 minutes downtown.

The hotel is not in the city center so it is a bit of inconvenient to transport.

Very good hotel but a little fat from the center. But it's worth to take a taxi to.

A nice hotel but very far from town

This was our first trip to China and we had no idea what to expect. Everything was great; customer service, cleanliness and a very courteous staff. Our room was like brand new and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located a few miles from the nearest subway so you have to plan for taxi service but a phone call to the front desk and they will be waiting when your ready. We stayed 20 days and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for a great experience.
