果拉旅馆 (La Gaura Guest House)

We had a wonderful time at Raffaella’s childhood home, but unfortunately, we only had a day in Rome before leaving. The house was beautiful, especially the garden! The room was ready when we arrived and was quiet and comfortable, even with other guests. Lorenzo picked us up from the airport on our first day. The next morning, we had a delicious homemade breakfast. It wasn’t buffet-style, but it was a main dish with eggs and bacon, dessert, coffee, and juice. The dessert was delicious, and the cafe was great too! Raffaella communicated with us before, during, and after our stay. I highly recommend this beautiful home in a quiet, nice, and clean neighborhood. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the center of Rome. If you prefer a quieter, more luxurious experience, this is the place for you. If you prefer the chaos of the center of Rome, you can stay there or split your stay. There is parking on site if you rent a car. There is a small plaza walking distance from the home for restaurant dining. We also met Raffaella’s mom and dad, who were both lovely people. The rest of the staff was very polite and pleasant as well.

This really is a lovely property. It is historic in nature and is beautifully built. The gardens and the pool are exquisite and the owners are really nice hosts. It is in a very quiet neighborhood but restaurants and shopping is a 10 minute walk. We would unquestionably stay again if we are in the area. I highly recommend them.

The house is simply beautiful and perfectly maintained, the garden and terraces are super nice and comfortables, breakfast was amazing and the service couldn’t be better. The location is excellent and parking was great. We would recommend it for single travelers or families. Rafaela was really nice.

Je recommande cette auberge sans hésitations!

Beautiful home.

Stayed there for a night and it was very nice!! As soon as we arrived we had an easy check in, the staff showed us around the whole place and recommended us places to eat near by. The breakfast was great! It was a good stay

Great location. Clean and functional. The owner was wonderful.

When ever i stay in rome. This is my favorite place stay. I have come here 3 years in a row

The room was lovely. Breakfast a la carte... Quite good. The bed was not a king, only queen size. The mattress and pillows werenjust ok... Not great. The location is about 45min from Rome.

An elegant, beautiful home with outstanding outdoor seating options and a pool. On site secure parking. A delicious continental style served breakfast. Very relaxed atmosphere. An unfortunate misunderstanding by the very excitable owners shortly after check-in with our paperwork and passport documents seems almost comical now. At the time we were made to feel like imposters trying to slide in on someone else’s reservation! No apology offered. The owner’s daughter and other staff more than made up for this gaff.
