Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Facilities blended with nature so you felt fully immersed into the rain forest! Experience was truly one of a kind!

This was a one of a kind true five star luxury property from the staff being attentive welding and helping me achieve a surprise for my sister, the food is to die for with exotic flavors mixed and fresh aromas also the spa is very relaxing I purchase essential oils to always remember my experience

Perfection!

This is hands down a 5 star hotel. The hotel is on an amazing property with an amazing view from the rooms. The rooms have a heated hot tub on the patio and the vibe is very nice. The pools are heated, so you can enjoy at any time. The food at the restaurant was solid , and the staff makes up for the rest since everyone is very nice. They transport you around on golf carts when ever needed, and get your car for you so you don’t have to walk around. The spa was a 10/10, from the setting to the actual massage. This is a place I’d revisit.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic, one of the best I have ever been too. The room was beautiful, exactly as pictured. We loved not just the in deck hot tub, but the pools as well and the 98 degree pool bar. Pools are open 24 hours and are very warm, so even in the rain it was amazing. The chocolate cake at the bakery was sublime. The staff was absolutely fantastic. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an absolutely 5* experience.

From the moment we arrived at Amor Arenal—welcomed by Abigail’s calming energy after our long drive from San José—to the moment we checked out, everything was exceptional. Every team member we met was warm and attentive. Crystal stood out for her friendly, knowledgeable guidance on the local wildlife; Griselda for her restorative, soulful wellness session; and Jhonny for his consistently kind and thoughtful service. The team at El Rancho was also wonderful, and the food was outstanding—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully authentic. Every meal impressed us. Our spa experience was memorable as well—from the soothing aromas and ginger-lemon tea to the Sleepy Sloth ritual with Tibetan bowls, hot stones, and essential oils. And our casita was the true highlight: beautifully designed, with incredible volcano views from both the private hot pool and the breathtaking shower. The only regret was that we didn’t stay longer…could not recommend this destination more.
