蓝宝石酒店 (Hotel Sapphire)

Staff was very rude and unhelpful

I only went there since it is close to Harminder sahib otherwise the staff ( person at the counter) was very rude and arrogant. He kept the phone down while I was still talking. I would not stay there again. The old prison at the reception should be replaced by someone who is more nice and talks better

Everything was good except for the smell inside the rooms - we had 3 different rooms and they all smelled bad. Some of it was coming from the bathrooms and some from the AC. But we stayed here for the location which made it really easy to go to Harimandar Sahib at any time of the day.

Very close to Durbar Saheb

Great service as always stayed here consistenly for years. Highly recommend

Great location, not very clean

The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to Golden Temple. Room and bathroom were untidy and they smelled! TV did not work for some reason plus there was no remote control. After awhile I got both; working TV and remote. No shampoo. I had no choice to go somewhere else so I decided to stay; thank God one night only.

Location right next to the Golden Temple is about the only thing really going for this place and view of temple from "Executive Room", which was smaller than expected and did not match the larger "Executive Room" photos shown on Hotels.com website when I booked it. AC was great when it worked (had a brief issue once which was corrected quickly as it was a 100+ degree day). Other than that a multitude of issues made for a less than pleasant stay. Upon check into room, fridge didn't work but wasn't fixed/replaced until late the second day after mentioning it 3 times. Also, constant WiFi issues. Initally signal was extremely weak and couldnt connect at all. Had to retrieve new password everytime after leaving the property as it seemed to reset every time I left to go to the temple/Wagah border, etc. Very annoying. Room was not cleaned at all and water bottle not replenised either despite it being 110 degrees out. Being an American from a cold climate that would have been appreciated. Was hoping for some kind of % off or refund given at checkout (also had trouble booking a can for airport) for a wide array of issues but ultimately none was given. No comment on bk as I didn't eat there. All in all wouldn't recommend staying here other than for location only.

overall satisfied. Everything was ok and staff were polite and courteous. No complaints

The hotel is situated in the sikh religious that is of great comfort to visit the Golden Gurdawara sahib at anytime. Only a little discomfort is to reach the hotel on busy occassion as cars have difficult reaching ,since all the roads are blockedg
