The room was clean and comfortable but I think a round dining table would have been a better arrangement than the sofa lounge next to the TV. Glass sliding doors were not clean. Everything else was very good.

Bungalows are quiet and private. Shower was excellent. Pool and beach were top rate. Staff was lackluster. Buggies are too expensive. Public shuttle was great but the stops are poorly designed for convenience. Cuca Chu restaurant was very good; make a reservation.

Bugs on the wall and woke up in bed with a bug on my foot along with one coming out of the shower first day - felt like the bungalow hadn’t been used for a while - after the first night no issues

Dirty room with stained linens. Tried to contact guest service and they wouldn’t pick up. Asked housekeeping for additional towels and they looked perplexed. Very dirty pool/ beach furniture. Rude bartender. Asked her to throw away an empty bottle and she told my husband they trash was “over there” and he should dispose of it. Very dated hotel that needs updating and their employees should have better training.

Was a great holliday. May return in the near future.

Extra large clean room with a comfortable bed. Walking distance to the shuttle bus. Close to the resorts where you can enjoy the activities without the hustle and bustle of the families. Would stay again.

The buffet was amazing with all the variety of dishes. The bungalow was spacious and in a great location however we were awoken numerous times at night by some Bush Stone-curlews screaming! I was not familiar with these birds that sound like a woman screaming until I heard them. Outside our bungalow we had a nice view of some wallabies and birds. I can’t wait to return to Hamilton Island however I would plan to stay in the Reef hotel where hopefully it would be a bit quieter from the screaming birds:)

It was expensive and the communication was terrible. When we checked in no one gave us any information. We weren’t told about breakfast which was paid for. We weren’t told about the activities available to us. When we were leaving for the airport, I asked an hour before where to wait and sat in the heat for one hour then when everyone started boarding they made us get in the back of the line of about 60 people because where I was waiting was the opposite side of where the group lined up. Then the man who told me where to wait rudely said, “ everyone else figured it out!” loudly in front of everyone which embarrassed me. I was the only one who had asked as I was the only one who sat there for an hour in the heat waiting. For what I paid to stay here I expected better service and communication.

This was our second stay at the Palm Bungalows and again we had an excellent time. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable, with a nice private terrace. The bungalows are very close to the beach and all water sports. Only a 10 minute walk from the marina. Some excellent restaurants and bars on site.

Was a lovely place Unfortunately a typhoon went by a few days earlier and water sports like paddleboard and kayaks were not available
