The hotel was perfect for our group of 15. Its close to restaurants downtown. Checking was easy with no problems. Overnight street parking was free.

The building is old but has a vintage charm, the staff were friendly and helpful however l gave the rating 3 stars because the doona had a terrible smell as if it hadn't been washed, l couldn't sleep much because of the smell. However l did bring it to the attention of the receptionist and asked for a replacement which they did swiftly, but all in all it was good for a budget hotel

There is no kitchen facilities other than a refrigerator, hot water jug , mugs and glasses. The room had a comfortable double bed and 2 side chairs. We were comfortable and slept well. The staff were friendly and helpful Car parking was provided. The building was ancient and very interesting it appeared to be undergoing a long term restoration to a former glory. Great for short term stays
