The room itself was good (though not 4 star by any means). However the property looked nothing like its picture. They put us in a golf cart and then drove around to the back. Along the way there was construction debris and some stray animals. Then they took us to the “D wing” which looked like a basic budget motel front. Room service and staff were good.

The hotel is excellent in terms of location, amenities and staff. The location cannot be beat - centrally located close to the railway station or airport. Easy to find Ubers, autos, and lots of shopping within walking distance. Many temples, and handicraft stores are within a 10 minute walk. The amenities were spectacular. Spacious rooms, spotlessly clean, multiple Restaurants on site, 24/7 room service, and more. The staff might be the highlight of this hotel. Every single individual went above and beyond. From the front desk, to the restaurant staff, to the doorman, and more. I especially recall Ruthi, Sangi, digvijay, Smita and Prachi. I’m forgetting a few names. They work long shifts, they serve with a smile. Highly recommended place to stay. We were a large group with elderly persons and a number of rooms. We had the best time.

It’s a very old property. Everything feels outdated with a few items in bathroom not functioning.

Not so great. Bathroom fittings were not working. Furniture very old.

Don't recommend for a stay

There was no electricity in hotel rooms and the manager won't come out to address the issues for all customers asking questions. Staff was not able to answer any questions or help customers at all. One of the worst customer service ever experienced.

The Hotel was comfortable and most importantly, the Staff are welcoming and friendly. The restaurant and breakfast options are adequate. Room service for food was sometimes delayed but generally ok.

Horrible experience for a four star rated high $$$ priced stay. No towels in the unclean pool. Rooms and beds and floor were stained. The worst noise due to lobby AC in the club royal rooms. Breakfast service was slow and lack of clear communication from some staff. The hotel brand should take note of the conditions here at HHI Bhubaneswar!
