Staff very helpful and thoughtful - I received baklava and a little card for my birthday. My room was quiet & comfortable. Location is excellent. Unfortunately due to a inor stomach problem I was unable to fully take advantage of the lovely breakfast. I did enjoy a cup of tea later on the balcony.

A lovely heritage type hotel. Beautiful view from my room and the balcony terrace where breakfast is served. All of the staff are kind, attentive and helpful. The room is charming! Very much like how it is decorated, and the bed is comfortable. Bathrooms have been modernized. Everything is very clean. Easy to walk from the Dersaadat to local attractions and transportation.

The hotel more than lived up to its reputation The staff were absolutely amazing, from our check in at 3 a.m. where we were asked to sit dow whilst the formalities were completed and we were served with hot apple tea and Turkish delight. Throughout our stay they helped with recommendations, tours, taxis etc. Our room was large with a sea view. Big bed, fridge, wardrobe, safe, lots of charging points, good wi-fi The bathroom was large with lots of shelves for toiletries, great shower and a Turkish bath which we tried out The breakfast on the roof terrace was brilliant, the woman who ran it preparing fresh salads, eggs, fruit salads etc., daily lots of great choice. Good coffee and juices, lots of choice of breads, cakes, jams, honey etc The terrace looks out over the sea and also the Blue Mosque Most evening we went there to have a drink and bask in the great vistas The hotel is very well located and we were able to walk to all the tourist spots with ease. There are multitdes of eating places nearby One of the best stays we have experienced

Exceptionally nice and generous staff, beautiful decor, delicious breakfast; with great views of Blue Mosque, Bosforus, and Sea of Marmara from the rooftop. Within walking distance from many of Istanbul attractions as well to tram station with service to downtown Istanbul. In fact we liked it so much, we rebooked here for the next week!

Great simple hotel in an old traditional wooden Ottoman house. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Location cannot be beaten. Unlike other places where you have to ask for it they were rushing to give me a room upgrade and discounts based on my Expedia status

Warm and welcoming staff, top notch service without being stuffy, great location

Can't say enough good things about this place. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, the staff went out of their way to please us. The hotel itself is very quaint and antique with beautiful decor. The complimentary breakfast was delightful and the rooftop café a wonderful place to pass some time. Will definitely recommend and be back.

We enjoyed our stay. Wonderful location and staff. They were very accomodating.

I arrived very early for checking in, they had a room ready for me, served me delicious apple tea. They gave me a map and answered all my numerous questions. An excellent restaurant was recommended for dinner, just a few minutes walk away
