Great place. Rooms do need an upgrade, especially the bathrooms.

I was expecting more to this place. Probably the pics are better than the actual place. Upon making reservation, I asked for connecting rooms because I have teenagers. I was told it’s doable. Upon arrival I was told no available connecting rooms. I was really disappointed. Not the nicest encounter with the female receptionist. Oh well lesson learned.

We're expecting for hot breakfast but they only offer juice/ coffee and granola bars. Very disappointed. Room carpet looks dirty. Poor lightings in the room. Overall , not very impressed!!!

I really hate to say this but the room was in need of a lot of work... the walls were dirty, wallpaper peeling. The bathroom sink didn't drain properly. The hot tub was broken, the water feature in the courtyard is drained. The lock on the room door was broken. The 101 highway was very loud, so try to stay to the front. The bed was not comfortable. The "free breakfast" was coffee, juice, and Kirkland granola bars / rice crispy treats. I really wanted to like it but ended up leaving after one night. Moved to another hotel nearby that was only a bit more per night (maybe $35 more a night including parking fee?) and it was much better. I hope they can renovate/improve. I'm not that picky and I know it was for sure cheaper than most. The parking fee here is $10/day and I thought that was odd, but when I moved to another motel nearby the parking fee was $25/day. Who knew? Guess it's an LA thing.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY. In any other place than LA Mikado would be a second rate motel. And it would cost less than third the money. I highly suggest paying $30-50 more to stay at the hotels down the block. The facility was old, run down, and filled with ants. One of the staff members I interacted with fine. The second staff member was not helpful at all and annoyed to have to do her job. Not a good look. Just do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

The hotel is okay in general but it needs remodeling or at least some care. It seems that it had it's golden days before but didn't keep up.

Something simple, nice location.

It's a quiet comfy place, staff is very welcoming, hotel area is clean, room is basic, actually kind of small but works, bes is comfortable, you only get the most basic stuff, there's a fridge and microwave wich is a plus, is not the newest place, had the basic amenities but is clean, safe, quiet, close to everything, the one thing i dont actually like is that they charge for parking 10dlls
