Great location, friendly and helpful concierge. I stayed in a room where there is a connecting door to the room next door. The sound proofing of my rooms wasn't great as the occupants next door were talking and laughing loudly at approximately 2.30am-3.30am. I rang the concierge and they assisted by ringing the room to keep their volume down. It was a work travel and because of this interruption, I could not sleep till probably 4.30am. Did not have enough rest for my meeting in the morning :(

I enjoyed my stay at Double Tree as the rooms were well appointed, the bed was comfortable and staff warm and friendly. I will be back.

Unfortunalty the breakfast was poorly stocked and and of a low standard compared to similar hotels in Melbourne. More of a mini buffet.

A pleasant stay with friendly and helpful staff! Fantastic location near to the city shopping belt and public transport are easily accessible. Will stay again if in Melbourne.

I have no idea how many hotels i have stayed in. I am 67 and have travelled all over the world since I was 19 or so. What I do know is that the people (i do not like the word "staff") who keep this place going are the best I have ever experienced. Just genuinely helpful, friendly people. Oh, and the rooms and breakfast are top shelf too. And the beer. My new go to im Melbourne. Thank you.
