Overall the breakfast was excellent and everything was there and I enjoyed. They had tea and pastry during the day and that was great. Staff was excellent and helpful. Property at the back, I stay at top floor. I count about 70 steps. If one has problem in climbing stairs that will not work especially seniors. It was easy getting down stairs. Where the bed was the cealing was slant and so one has a few inches above pillows. I hit my head getting into bed. Don't let the bright color yellow or gold paint over bed head deceive you. Bed should reposition. Neighborhood, easy access to places by train, shopping and lots of eating places.

We didn't have breakfast as there were places to eat nearby but it looked good and we will probably have it next time. The room was a good size. The staff were very helpful and would have stored our luggage for free the next morning had we needed to do that. We found it very convenient for the Gare du Nord just off a main road with plenty of shops and restaurants and an Aldi supermarket not too far away. We intend to stay there again next time we are in Paris.

The room was spacious, warm and clean. A good location near both main train stations. The area more urban but still, we felt quite safe. Lots of places to eat and drink near by.

2 stars because staff was Great but the room itself was disgusting!!! The room looked like it has never been cleaned. The walls, the baseboards, the floors, the showers were filthy, dirty and dust everywhere. The first was so bad we asked to leave and be refunded. They did move us to another room which was slightly better, but still terrible, the bed was sunken in in the middle. They also tried to compensate with offering breakfast but from the looks of the room I was not willing to eat from they’re kitchen Just a horrible experience.

Room doesn’t match the picture, also many rooms do not have elevator access, we had to walk up 5 levels to get to our room everyday we stayed there. The rooms are so tiny, the pictures are very misleading. The front desk is very nice but sadly do not accommodate for room changes if you require.

Excellent location, staff were welcoming and helpful. Rooms very clean and really good size for 3 of us sharing. So many cafes and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend Hotel Kabanel

The lady on reception when we arrived was wonderful-thank you! The hotel is really well placed for transport links or walking in to town. Really good continental breakfast. Clean room / facilities; only complaint is lack of plug sockets in the room!
