Always a fabulous experience

I had a late check in, so I followed the after hours process. This was well communicated and easy to follow. The room was nice, clean but needed a little updating. As it was dark when I arrived on the Saturday night, I only got to see the view in the morning, which I was looking forward to as the images on their website looked lovely. Well, I hope the entire resort was booked out as I could not see any reason to give us the room above the reception roof, all you could see were 3 different roof lines, so that was disappointing! When I went to check out, this was the first interaction with any staff member, I was hoping she would have asked how the stay was, but nothing, which was unfortunate.

Room was air-conditioned and smelt clean

Friendly reception, clean and spacious room. I didn't realise they were renovating, but there was no noticable noise. The only negative was no cups for beverages and I was supplied with paper cups when I asked for one - and only single use plastic cups for water.

I am completely unimpressed with my stay here. I booked for a few days RnR only to find there was renovations. The restaurant was impacted as was room service. Reduced menu and loud noise in rhe Cafe. I was shocked awake to a horrendously loud jack hammer which sounded like it was coming through my wall at 7.15am which continued til 8.15. Management was unable to be located. The receptionist saved me leaving and asking for a refund by moving me to another room for my last night. No where on booking material did it say there was renovation work happening. Unimpressed.

I love this hotel. Great value for money and tucked away for a quiet stay. There are renovations underway but it didn’t interfere with the running of the hotel. The pools are excellent, wonderful new gym, the restaurant is open from morning till night fur breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cocktail bar. Games room on the patio. Very spacious foyer with a large leather couch for relaxing. I chose a studio apartment overlooking the pools/golf course. Such a beautiful view to watch the golfers and bird life on the canal. Very very relaxing to sit with a glass of wine. There is a reading chair and footstool in the room aswell as 2 double beds and a bistro table/2 chairs. Kettle/toaster/fridge/bowls/plates/cutlery/wine glasses and a very well stocked tea caddy. I shall be revisiting real soon.

Clean the room properly and the bed ned to cleaned too.

I loved the staff and their customer service but the place was under maintenance. First room had a very strong moldy smell and damp carpet. Second room that we were shifted too was quite nice but someone was smoking Marijuana in the room next or above so we could smell it through the doors even though there is a sign saying no smoking allowed. Shower pressure was very weak and dribbling. However the customer service was excellent
