afternoon in the pool better shade breakfast was good and fresh lots of food places all round

Lovely friendly hotel. Staff very helpful. Shady pool area. Pool bar not open very often but there is a nice bar over the road

We booked six nights in February 2026, and after reading some of the negative reviews we were considering cancelling the booking. We are really pleased we didn't cancel. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast didn't have lots of choice, but was adequate. We never found a problem to get seated, and it was a pleasant environment overlooking the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave a welcoming greeting to us every morning. The pool was clean, and was never crowded when we stayed. There is a choice of restaurants very close by, where we ate every night before the easy walk into the old town. We stayed at four hotels this visit in Vietnam, two of which were five star hotels, but when looking back over, we enjoyed our stay at the Emotion Villa/ Hoi an, the most favourable. Would definitely, and seriously thinking of staying next year.

Good deal for price, good location, walkable

Nice villa and very quiet. Ponds and swimming pools we great. The only complaint is that the AC system in our room was not functioning all the time so we would wake up from the heat a couple times at night. Friends AC in a groud floor room was fine so perhaps it was just our room.

The room is very spacious. The staff was super nice and helpful. The property is only average. The “ gym” is really just a tiny room with one treadmill, a few weights and no air conditioning. The breakfast is extremely basic with limited options. The place has a lit of potentials and the most outstanding features are the staff and the location. The pool is nice and the bikes are complimentary

Staff was lovely Dog barking every single morning between 6am-7am Unacceptable. Every single morning.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made our experience truly special. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and always had a smile on their face. —thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

The Pool proven a greatchill out space many days when the humidity climbedin the morning. The staff were amazing. The location with 5 fantastic restaurants nearby saved walking far. Used the bikes toscoot over to Cua Dae beach several times without incident. I said I would go back and I mean it.
