Very quirky interesting hotel. Nice people good location. A very old house with all that comes with that, so don’t expect massive rooms.

Fun place to stay (on a canal), with a marvelous staff and a huge breakfast. Some great restaurants nearby (De Belhamel and Sagardi). The staircase is narrow and winding, and the elevator holds either two people or one person and a bag). Each room honors a craft; we were in The Tanner, with a great view of the neighborhood.

Lovely unique property in an amazing location along the canal. The staff couldnt have been mrie lovely. My issues were the air conditioning not working which I had prioritized when searching for hotels. We were offered another room with AC but would have had to change rooms nightly which I was too tired for. Also we landed early so we arrived to the hotel at 9am and did not expect a super early check-in but didnt get to checkin early at all which was disappointing since there are only a dozen rooms - wish they could have prioritized us. Lastly the digital menu to scan in the provided hotel info docs wasnt up to date so I had sent my partner to order food and drinks that were no longer available or current. I think the room cost exceeded the value to be honest.

Great little hotel close to the great streets in Amsterdam.
