Staff were professional and courteous! Hotel is one level and easily accessible for persons with mobility challenges. This hotel is located behind the Hotel Geysir, however, all accesses to restaurants in the larger hotel are provided. Room was very clean and as described.

Incredible location right across from the geysers. Helpful staff at front desk. We spent the whole evening exploring that geyser area. Wonderful to just walk back to our room after. The hotel is basic but we didn't need anything fancy. Bed was great and so was breakfast. Yes you have to walk to the big hotel but we didn't care. Isn't far. We had dinner at the geyser food hall next door. Fish and chips were good. They stop serving hot food at 7.

满意 Clean room, unfortunately it was very poor lighting inside. We wished there were at least 4 more recessed lights or 2 floor lamps. Overall it was comfortable otherwise.

Unfortunately there was no host, we had to check in next door. The place was very clean but the hospitality area was never open again we had to go to the hotel next door for information. Had I known this I would not have booked this place even with the great location.

We had booked a room at Litli Geysir Hotel but the day of we received notice that we had been upgraded to stay at the new Hotel Geysir. This hotel is directly across from the Strokkur Geysir so no complaints on the location. The beds in our room were fantastic. The room would have been better if it had a mini fridge and ice bucket. We had dinner at the restaurant and free breakfast in the morning. Both had plenty of options. The staff were friendly and still learning the place but it was clean and had large open lounge areas with interesting art. And after a night snowfall, they plowed the parking lot immediately.

The moved us to the Hotel Geysir. Everything was wonderful. Comfortable bed, good view, good food for purchase and great continental breakfast.

Disappointed that all the facilities were closed and inaccessible even to sit and talk. You had to walk over to the big hotel for breakfast and dinner or for a drink. It would s a very short walk but in freezing rain not so nice.
