There was not much food options. We opted for A la Carta and we were advise that no reservation was required however when we reach at the restaurant they advise us that they now required reservation and was roll out the day after we checked in. They mentioned advise was sent but we didn't receive any notification on the app nor email

Sudden changes and long wait times for dinner.

We had an amazing stay at Bahia Principe Explore Coba! The resort was beautiful, clean, and incredibly family-friendly. There were plenty of activities for both kids and adults, making every day fun and memorable. The staff was always welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The food was phenomenal—every night the buffet featured something different, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The specialty restaurants were outstanding and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The nightly shows were fantastic, especially Origin, which was absolutely spectacular and a must-see during your stay. The resort is large, but the shuttle service made it easy to get around. The pools were excellent, and the beach was just a short ride away. Overall, we had an unforgettable family vacation and made memories we'll cherish forever. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend Bahia Principe Explore Coba to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and high-quality all-inclusive resort.

We had a fantastic and memorable stay at Bahia Principe Grand Coba. The staff were warm, helpful, and made us feel welcome right from the start. Coba is very family-oriented, with lots of activities, pools, and entertainment options—perfect for kids, who had an amazing time. The property is large and well-maintained, with shuttles making it easy to get around. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety to keep everyone happy. The only downside is the location, about an hour and a half from Cancun, but once you’re there, the resort has everything you need. Overall, an excellent stay and great value for families.

I would like to start by saying that I am immensely disappointed in our experience and I will not be coming back. First and foremost, the make or break of any vacation: the food. Our al la carte experience was excellent however the buffet was wearing after the third day… the same lukewarm dishes served again and again. This would not be an issue if we could visit any of the other eateries present in the complex, however we could not do so without an extreme fee. This was not made clear on the website, and if it WAS present in plaintext, it was nowhere clear or easy to see. Branching off of that, our resort itself was devoid of any and all activities with the exception of those at night. Yes, we are here to vacation and relax, but we can only do so much laying around. the night time events were fun, but ultimately, still just sitting. We paid for an excursion which was lovely and honestly the highlight of the trip. Part of the draw to Mexico are the beaches, however our section of beach was so small and so packed with chairs that I didn’t really get to enjoy any aspect of it. The service was subpar for a self proclaimed 5 star resort. The bar and waiting staff were excellent however the room service was minimal. Despite tipping everyday, some days even extra, our mini bar was never restocked, our floors were never cleaned well (a dead cockroach was in the room for a few days before i decided to take it into my own hands). Again, I reiterate, I will NOT be coming back here.

This was an incredible stay. We travelled with a 3mo and the staff was super accommodating and helpful. We felt very welcomed, comfortable and safe. Loved this property. The room was clean, food was nice, the pool was super fun with lots of activities throughout the day and a family friendly environment. My only tip would be to go to the buffet early so you don't have to worry about lineups. Even though we got to the buffet late a few times, it wasn't too bad. Would definitely recommend
