I stayed as I was catching a flight from SEN, I was very impressed with how clean and well presented the rooms and the hotel in general were. Comfortable bed, I slept very well. Food was lovely, fish and chips. Great view of the airport from the restaurant and bar on the 5th floor. Only a couple of minutes walk to catch the flight. Also handy for other alternative to the restaurant, McDonald's right opposite, and a range of shops at the outlet right opposite too. Easy to get to, easy to find. Pleasant to stay in. I will stay again when using SEN again. First class right across the facilities offered on site, and handy for the retail opportunities not found within the little airport.

Very convenient for early Southend airport departure.
Restaurant however very basic. Chips clearly fried from frozen, etc.
Rooms a bit dated. Nice big bed, but tiny tv on wall? Our sink would not drain. Clearly blocked pipes. When reported in the morning, the duty officer making the bog standard comment "oh, I will make a note", before turning back to whatever he was doing before. Forgotten already...

Lovely staff, rooms ok, vwry dirty carpet in my room , needs to be changed, small tv, but fair for a price i suppose.

The room was clean, and the a/c was very welcome. Staff were helpful. Bathroom sink tap was a little excitable and needed to be turned on slowly to avoid getting soaked.

Good quality rooms and well mannered and helpful staff. Like most modern hotels air conditioning/central heating can be difficult to regulate to the required levels.

The bar upstairs overlooks the airport and is a brilliant view. It's walking distance from the airport and easy to get to. Check in was fast and easy. We had a wheelchair user with us and was easy to get her around and to/from the rooms. The bed was comfy. Didn't have breakfast there. Shops nearby too.

Room was excellently appointed and in great condition. We ate in the Restaurant and service was excellent and food as described, hot and tasty. Fab views over the airport, (although not much going on there), on-site parking meant this was an excellent stay. My only gripe if that, was that only coffee by the jug was available and would have preferred to have the option of a cappuccino!
