八王子天空酒店 (Hachioji Sky Hotel)

The staff here are exceptional, so very kind, warm and welcoming. I felt right at home. I love the small market / artisanal goods shop setup in the entrance of the hotel. Such nifty little pieces for those which appreciate handcraft / handcraft pottery and Japanese cultural craft. Of course I purchased some pieces. I can't speak for all rooms of course. I will say the overall hallways, building itself, elevators and rooms are clean, kept very tidy. The carpet in my room, in particular was soiled but not too much of a bother for me. I've been all over the world and been subjected to much worse. The room was clean, just the carpet is in need of a change. But all the other pluses made up for this. The area around the hotel is exceptional, so many food choices, holes in the walls...a great place/ area to stay in if you like 'walking distance foods' I deeply enjoyed my stay there for a week, as I was passing through. Such great people. Thank you Peggy for all your help and assistance.

The staff was very friendly and helpful for someone who did not speak Japanese. There is no breakfast but the surrounding area has a excellent selection of places to eat. It's about a 15 minute walk from the train station. And a half block from a 7-11 The room is very small, with a twin bed and single pillow. this is definitely a business hotel. But for a solo traveller who just needed a bed and a shower this was perfect for the cheap price.

The property is a bit tired but the staff are pleasant and doing the best they can with what they've got. Breakfast was Japanese style and pretty tastey. Not real close to the train station so if that's important then this might not be the best choice.

i did‘nt like limited breakfast.

Very Nice Front Desk Stsff. Comfortable Room.

Very Nice Front Desk Staff! Single Room is much larger than other 'Bisiness Hotels"

Very Nice Property!

About a ten minute walk through a central shopping path to the main train station. Rooms and bathrooms are small compared to western standards but very clean with necessary essentials. We got two separate rooms because we needed four separate twin size beds. The free breakfast is a complete Japanese style teishoku with grilled fish and miso soup. We loved it but not sure it will suit everyone’s taste.

Small and quiet hotel about a 9 minute walk to Hachioji station. Less than an hour to most of Tokyo by train. Hachioji has a great walking street lined with bars, restaurants, etc. I will stay there again.

I expected coffee and tea bags in the room but there ware not.a bit dissaponted.
