The main issue with a hotel is food, don’t wait anything special, breakfast is ok and the rest is overpriced and small choice.

As a former 5-star hotelier director, I can often have high standards. Just ask my husband 😉 The Fairmont Mayakoba team well exceeded our expectations. Gabriel and Salvador and additional team members in guest services. Erick, Marcos, Ezequiel and the beach servers, the Cafe Maya team, Roxana at Brisas, tequila tasting (he was so knowledgeable and his name has slipped my mind) and many more were all wonderful! A special shoutout to Gabriel for recognizing our Honeymoon status and going above and beyond for my husband and I. The Fairmont and all of Mayakoba will be on a repeat destination for us. The access to amazing dining, fun daily bike rides, wonderfully clean guest rooms and beautifully combed beaches are just a few of the reasons we loved our stay. Oh and how could I forget the Le Labo signature scent of products (nice touch!) Keep doing what you are doing… going above and beyond for guests is what hospitality is all about. It was fun for me to be on the receiving side of it for a change! Especially after a stressful wedding era! Cheers and see you all again soon!

Beautiful resort. Suggest having options available for people who have later flights - i.e. more generous late checkout options or at least access to lockers and showers. Candidly, for the cost, the resort had limited things to do aside from sitting by the pool.

Wonderful stay

Truly enjoyed the Fairmont. Beautiful property, great food at the pool restaurant. Friendly staff there as well. One big frustration was the totally unreliable staff at the reception/golf cart transportation on site: several times we were told: a driver is on the way, will be there or told by a driver “justifying around there back in a minute” without anyone ever showing up afterwards.

Excellent service even during peak of speing break. Agustin saved me a ton of time by arranging spa treatments, activities and dinner reservations.

The room was fantastic and the property was u believable.

Everything about this hotel stay was relaxing from the beach chairs seaside with a giant wooden Palapa and full service all day drinks and lunch whatever you want We had massages which at first the $300 price tag seemed high but then when you realize it is a time to go and spend at least three hours in the spa with a private pool just for the spa patrons, a coffee bar with yogurt and complementary drinks, outdoor hot tub and the staff is so friendly. It’s just a place to go and really have a Zen moment. All the restaurants are fabulous and they treated us like royalty at the Toro steak restaurant. We were taken into the dry age, beef room, and given a small sample of the chef’s favorite steak and explained the process of the meat drying, the food was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay at this hotel resort. A bonus was visiting the adjoining hotels for dinner at the Banyan tree and Rosewood. Golf carts are your taxi which the resort runs a very efficient service
