very good location and excelent services

The room was tatty and the bathroom sink was really slow to drain. The breakfast was the only good thing about the stay, it was actually really good! Location was central but for the price, I thought the room was tired, carpet stained, sink not draining properly and shower water barely warm. Staff not very helpful and if you want to eat at the hotel restaurant you need a reservation in advance, so not very helpful. I wouldn't stay again.

Very good hotel well located for the tourist. Clean, comfortable, and felt save. Staff was not super friendly, though. In face m, at times, we felt they were making fun of us. Helpful enough-just didn’t live up to the image one has of the Scottish (especially post World Cup). Bar/food very over priced-especially with brilliant food hall next store. Again, solid hotel. Just jagged around the edges. Would recommend.

Nice hotel for just sleeping accommodations.

The worst person we have ever seen in our trips , that guy who is in charge of the restaurant He treated us very bad Not respectful at all And kept repeating that : we here in Scotland we do food fresh and better that in USA It looked like he has an issue with us and with USA !!!!

The room was cleaned every day, good, but Breakfast was costly, so preferred to go to a cafe outside.

Fantastic location and property near the tram and bus, shopping and city centre. Fantastic breakfast, quiet rooms and comfortable beds and bedding. Very well managed and run - thank you especially to Joe at check in desk for his helpfulness and kind welcome!!

The Courtyard by Marriott is located in a non-central location, which is easily accessed by walking for many eating establishments. We wanted to experience more of the local cuisine, so we did quite a bit of walking but it was worth it. Many restaurants were next door or right across the street, so we didn't lack for "local" (Italian, Canadian, etc. but with differing versions of haggis) cuisine. Our room was cleaned daily and, any time you approached staff members, they were always ready and willing to help us. I can't say enough good about the staff. The breakfast in the hotel was quite expensive, so we ate elsewhere. The air conditioning in the room wasn't very efficient; we kept waking up in a sweat, even after the receptionist reset it and the gentleman came by and reset it again. It was way too hot for us and no way to really open the window more than a crack.

I would not recommend this. There is no proper management of queue at the reception - there are 3 random separate lines and people were jumping queues. The staff did not show any intention to manage that. Room cleanliness is alright but everything is out of date. The bath door is constantly stuck. I stayed two nights in two separate rooms (as I went to highlands in-between). First night I was given a room directly facing the garbage areas with trolley. The second night I was given a room directly facing the car park - there was a car parking right in front of my window (I wasn’t sure if it’s a private parking area or it was actually facing a street), and I also saw some garbage trolleys. I couldn’t have the blinds open on both nights, which were unfortunate. I would not recommend to anyone. Please consider another hotel with the price you pay.
