The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. We had the spa suite and it was huge and very nice. The breakfast was traditional Turkish food with vegetables, salads, hard boiled eggs. I longed for some hot eggs and toast. No ice was available at the hotel, but the front desk kept us supplied with water. There was a mini-refrigerator in the room to keep it cold. Location was great, right at the Galata Bridge, which had several wonderful restaurants on the lower level. There was a coffee shop right next door but coffee wasn’t available until 8:30 so make other plans for coffee if you’re an early starter.

The pictures online makes the hotel look magically antique and ornate. Unfortunately the truth is that it's just old and run down. The comforter was smaller than the mattress, there was no A/C, and it was incredibly loud and bright making sleep a challenge. We both bought ear plugs to combat the street noise. Great location, but no other positive attributes.

Transportation is so convenient, close to subway, tram and buses. Shop nearby, breakfast is good.

The breakfast is good. The room was very comfortable for me. The traffic noise is high, but that doesn't bother me. Very convenient location, * found it easy to get the the landmarks I wanted to visit

Great Location, tram, ferries, bus stop , marmara right next door or across the street. Galata bridge is right in front of the hotel. Busy area, noisy , till late at night. Bring earplugs. But after walking all day honestly you just crash tired. Staff was excellent, very nice friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, Turkish style spread. Very nice lots of variety and fresh food. The rooftop amazing. The views , the views the views. Room was nice . Got everything that I need it and more. A little dated but it was fine , details here and there not a big deal. Good water pressure, clean room . I stayed on the 3rd floor king bed facing the bosphoro , pillows and mattress were confortable. You got everything you need around the area and more.

Centrally located for transportation and right at Galata Bridge. Many restaurants. I loved my room with its little electric fireplace, tall ceilings, and chandelier. Very good staff. Great breakfast overlooking the Galata Bridge.

Highly recommend this Hotel, great location, a retro feel with modern amenities and a great breakfast. Rooftop balcony with fantastic views over the towards the Grand Bazar, Mosques etc Highly recommend a stay here
