Very nice hotel, nice location, helpful staff.

The room has extremely poor sound insulation, and the bed sheets and duvet cover smelled terrible.

While we had one guest service member that was very helpful, others were not. Parking was blocked, the gym doesn’t have ac and is TINY, the rooms were exceptionally small and hard horrible airflow. Our worst stay in Spain.

Very courteous and efficient staff. Well maintained rooms and very good breakfast selection and quality of foods/drinks.

Room was clean, but well loved. The soap dispenser had fallen off the wall and stains on the walls. Very quiet room - great for sleeping. Breakfast was amazing!! Central spot and a roof top little pool to cool off!

Convenient location- close to the main shopping area and sights. Easy to walk to everything and lots available in surrounding streets for all needs.

Very disappointing stay at Catalonia Hotel 1864. I booked a standard single room for myself, but the room was extremely small and had a strong mouldy smell. When I complained to reception, instead of resolving the issue properly, I was told they could offer me a deluxe room , but only if I paid an additional €138 per night. To me, this felt like a deliberate upselling strategy rather than genuine customer service. Guests should not be pressured into paying huge extra charges just to have a clean and comfortable room. Very unfair and opportunistic experience overall.
