岛景度假村 (Island Vista Resort)

A little hard to find . But very nice people and staff. I would go again!

I’m not sure why this isn’t rated as a 5-star resort. We actually booked it the same night we checked out of another hotel that was dirty, outdated, and nothing like the photos (North Beach Resort…I’d recommend staying elsewhere). Thankfully, we found an incredible one-bedroom oceanfront suite here with a full kitchen, a pull-out couch, and a Murphy bed in the living area, giving the kids plenty of space while letting us enjoy our own room. The resort itself was fantastic. There are two outdoor pools, plus a smaller pool and lazy river that’s perfect for younger children. If you’re a beach lover, you’re only steps away from beautiful white sand and crystal-clear water. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent, making it easy to spend the day by the ocean. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant was simple but delicious, and Stella made us feel like family every morning. For dinner, there are countless restaurants just minutes away. The location is perfect—close to everything Myrtle Beach has to offer while still feeling relaxing. This resort completely turned our vacation around, and we’ll definitely be back.

One bug in our room. Otherwise excellent.

We loved our stay at Island Vista Resort. Friendly staff, clean room, beautiful view of the beach, and we loved that it was family-friendly.

It was ok, not as nice as I expected based on the reviews, front desk manager I think he was, wasn’t the greatest, other staff was fine. Were told that several rooms that we asked to upgrade to were booked but the entire stay no one was in them, we know because the room was next to ours.

Everything

Pros: Room was very nice. Completely unexpected. Every member of the staff was helpful, kind and knowledgeable. We really had a great time. Food was better than expected. Cons: Pool area was not as nice as hoped for. Aged and cheap chairs. But the beach was amazing. Parking is horrible as stated in other reviews. But its truly the only bad thing about the property. Overall very good experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved that we were the only highrise within a few blocks. The Cypress room was superb!! We loved our room and the staff were great! We will definitely be back!!

Very nice room with a great view. Staff is very welcoming and friendly.

Friendly staff, clean facilities and great access to the ocean. Overall a great experience.
