This was by far the most expensive place we stayed and we chalked it up to it being the first weekend of Golden week. Unfortunately, it was also by far the worst place we stayed. It's a converted apartment, which is a decent idea. The look over the canal was nice. The room cleanliness was not as described. See the attached photos to decide for yourself.

Good customer service, rooms are as pictures show them

River canal view room is great. The blinds in the room were broken; could not pull or push at all. It resulted in sleeping with lights coming into the room all the time.

Pillows thin and hard, mattress very hard. Not enough blankets. No coffee maker in spite of drip coffee packs in room. No place to plug in kettle in kitchenette. Terrible terrible checkin process

Good for what I paid.

Was great

We did not realize that the property was an unmanned lobby. We arrived in Fukuoka on a ferry so got to the hotel way before our check in time. We needed our luggage held until we can check in. Long story short, they did not provide storage service. There was no television in the room. I checked the website on hotels.com and it says there’s supposed to be a tv in the room but, alas, no. We figured it will be a quiet three nights. Also we had a view of the rear of the property, which was someone’s backyard. No riverside view whatsoever. It was just disappointing.

The location is great

The vertical curtain is damaged and does not cover the window perfectly. Noisy is alot and room is so dark. Feels like i was in the ghost house. So left that hotel in 1 hour after check in. Terrible

Overall just ok , great if you need to stay few days on a budget.
