We stayed in the room on ground floor with a private garden. The experience was excellent with calm and natural ambience. Clean room and plentiful amenities. The Ryokan breakfast experience was outstanding, compliments to the chef and staff. The outdoor spa tub was an amazing way to relax after a day of exploring, totally worth the small charge.

超赞 Excellent place. Very traditional Japanese experience. I would suggest to the management to give some education about the Japanese breakfast and the room setting, since most of the visitors are foreigners.

Beautiful spotless Japanese room overlooking the garden. Excellent toiletries. Rooftop bath. Exceptional staff. Five minute walk to Philosophers Path. Highly recommended.
