The hotel is under construction so its kind of messy and not safe because their stairway is unfinished without the glasses supposed to be a stair walls? The bath room door in our room with a glass broken and taped with a newspaper! You will need to have some mean of transportation else the taxi will kill your budget! You should rent a motorcycle so you could travel around. The Da Nang city going out of their way to welcome tourist into Da Nang, the city will have a live concert every night from 19:00 - 22:00, you should find the live concert at the stage in the opposite street side of the hotel A La Carte

Very angry that we booked through hotels.com to stay at Zion hotel, claiming it was only a few km from the airport and in the city centre. In reality we were at Zion2- which is in the middle of nowhere and not near the airport- meaning our taxi from airport was more expensive than it should have been. Annoyed that they advertise as 'Zion' when in reality it's Zion2. Don't make the same mistake as we did!

Don't confuse this with Zion in city centre. It seems a number of past reviews are misleading and are in fact for a different hotel. It was located quite far from the city centre which alone wouldn't have been a major concern for us however but the condition of the hotel was really poor. There was thick dust on our bed head and wardrobe and the room absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke. we have stayed all over Vietnam paying a similar price per night in a lot of places and this was by far the worst of all the places we have stayed. Glad we only booked for 1 night!!!

This hotel is a good deal! It's about 10 minutes from the city center and 5 minutes from the beach by taxi.
