(Hotel Gotico)

Due to my son having toe surgery 2 days before arrival, I requested a change of date under extreme circumstances. This was directly declined by the hotel, and also when Expedia appealed to them. I offered to pay a surcharge, penalty fee and take any date they could change it too but all requests were declined by reservations as I booked 'non refundable' We went ahead with our trip but it was modified and we could not take full advantage of the activities I had booked. The receptionist was quite rude about this issue on check-in, which I felt was unprofessional and unnecessary. The hotel itself is a central location. Our room was small and dark, with a tiny window and the cleaning was basic. Asked at reception for an iron/board which I was handed and had to take to the room (floor 3) myself. On the plus aircon was quiet, pillows good. Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment.

Great location, close to the metro with lots of food & drink options nearby. All of the staff were friendly and helpful!

excellent location and hotel is close to a metro station whim was great! staff very helpful! breakfast was good and what i expected so i would stay here again! thank you

Francesco was awesome to deal with. His English skills really helped us. He was very polite and engaging. Rooms were clean and bathroom was nice and large

Excelente.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, clean room.

We enjoy the hotel, very nice

Nice place, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The property is a little dated, but you have to remember that you are in the Gothic quarter and its a very old area. All in all it was in a great area and close to many things we wanted to do.

Our 3rd time in Spain (2nd in Barcelona). Worst experience ever. AC was bad but the worst was the room maintenance and overall condition. This hotel is well located but expensive and in very bad shape. 4 stars….? LOL.
