Great location - better food options might be helpful.

Great place to stay near the airport for holidays. Spotlessly clean room and staff very helpful. Only down side is that the shower door is see through and is awkward when staying with friends.

The hotel hits a budget point and only a few tram stops away from the airport. The location was perfect for us to stay the night before a flight out. No frills and affordable.

Excellent Option for a short connexion.

Very poor value for the money we paid to stay here. The only benefit was the proximity to the tram. Mold around the windows, very bare bones amenities. Staff looked like they could care less about being there. But, honestly, the room was what I would imagine a modern day prison would be like. The water closet was a bathroom stall, open at the top, with no fan, and no privacy if more than one person was in the room. The sink and shower were in the main room so absolutely no privacy at all if sharing. Bed was hard and only two pillows and a light covering. No colour to anything to try to cheer it up. The worst was the cost. We paid the exact same amount to stay at this place as we did a four star in the west end of Edinburgh. After we left, we stayed in another budget hotel for a third of the price that was 10 times better quality, cleanliness, and service. Obviously, this dormitory style lodging is what Ibis is promoting as "budget" but it seems like highway robbery for what they are charging.

For the price, its noisy, cramped and very few amenities (had to ask for towels and a second pillow). I would not recommend a stay here.

Always good for early morning trips from Edinburgh Airport

The hotel was perfect for an overnight stay close to Edinburgh airport. One travels 4 stops on the tram from the airport and the hotel is right opposite the Gyle tram stop - very easy and way cheaper than hotels right at the airport. The hotel seems new and everything was fresh and clean. The air conditioning worked well in my room and the room was thoughtfully laid out. It had a double bed and a lofted single bed above it so would have been suitable for a couple and a child. It didn’t feel crowded or claustrophobic. My only small criticism was that I had to request a hair dryer at reception since they are not provided in the rooms. A light evening meal and a continental breakfast were available for an extra charge.
