Great 2 night stay in this lovely old inn. Friendly staff.
Enjoyed the full breakfast and had dinner here both nights.
Very close to the Beatrix Potter home which made visiting easy.

Parking very easy. A warm welcom from the friendly staff. Always greeted with a smile and a hello. Food on the menu is limited but a very good quality . Breakfast ws excellent. All food cooked to oreder

After mistakenly booking for one person, we were charged an excessive „charges for two“. We were not informed of the amt of the extra charge until checkout. Be very careful when booking with this hotel. We would not stay there again.

Very friendly staff and nice and clean
The menu for breakfast and dinner was limited as to choice and could do with having an alternative some days
I asked for a sandwich at 3.15pm and was told the kitchen was closed even though their information page states soup and sandwiches until 4.00pm
We stayed in room no2 and we are active 70 year olds but found getting out from the shower/bath was a big step and waiting for an accident to happen
