Older charming property with antique furnishes, just an 8 minute walk to a hotel restaurant. Very nice quiet property I would definitely stay here again.

We spent three nights at the Lodge. It is an excellent base for exploring Tongariro. Our room was very comfortable and the lodge had a laundry and drying room. Breakfasts were very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Ps. make sure you meet Lucky, a very friendly feline who befriended us 😻

Everything was great. We travel a lot internationally but I don't recall any other place being even close. Everything is new and in perfect working conditions. The doors, the windows, the fan, the bathroom, the kitchen, the lights... Even some minor details were well designed and worked as intended.
