卫城之家酒店 (Hotel Acropolis House)

Great location. Old fashioned hotel with bathroom in separate location (a little inconvenient). Small cramped room. Great breakfast & hospitality.

Incredibly lovely staff and great location! The breakfast was mediocre and the hotel itself is rather old.

A great location. Small independent guest house with a great, easy breakfast in a communal small dining room. If you don’t like big beige hotels and want something a bit more traditional then this is a great choice.

Great location, sweet view of The Acropolis from the 4th floor hallway. The combination of heat, no elevator and weak A/C impacted our stay. Staff were helpful and engaged.

Great people. The 80 year old owner Pano is fun to converse with. His daughter is thorough and answers emails promptly. All who work there are professional. The place has character. Perfect location on edge of Plaka and close to Syntagma Square. Breakfast is included. Includes nice balcony. Great choice to stay.

I enjoyed my time at the Acropolis House. The room was small, but comfortable. About what if expect for a two star hotel. What made this place shine was how friendly everyone was. I really felt welcome! The location was very good, centrally located in the Plaka.

The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Charming and quaint. We booked the smallest room so it was so. The air conditioning cooled very well. The bathroom was attached to the room and was also very clean. The toilet was inside the shower room with a drain which took a little getting use to. We had a safe and mini fridge within our closet. The bed was extra firm and on the smaller side I believe it was a full or queen rather than 2 twins put together for a double. The house was historic and had charm which I prefer rather than a chain hotel. The staff was friendly and spoke English well. Breakfast was typical European breakfast, breads, jam, and fruit. They ask you pick a time slot to have your breakfast served. Also you leave your room key when you leave the house (not new to us we've done the same in Rome) and the front doors will be closed/locked by a certain time. The area was great just a few blocks from Plaka shopping. This is an older property so street noise can be noticeable inside your room thankfully it is a quiet area so not such a problem. I did not notice any noise from ajoining rooms or upstairs. I recommend staying here of course ! but I will for sure choose the larger room for my next stay : )

Very conveniently located small hotel in the heart of Athens, very close to main sights. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful 19th century frescoes in reception area!

Two things that made stay good: Some of the staff and location. Ac only inside bedroom. The building is a little outdated.
