Amazing location, accessible and quiet. The AC was great, the room was a good size.

Can not applaud enough the AC during the heat wave

The location is center and in a way close to the airport. They offer breakfast at the hotel but expensive and very limited in options. The last day they had maintenance on the elevator so I had to carry my luggage through the stairs without anyone helping me. Keep this in mind.

The Alfred hotel is centrally located just off a canal and walkable to the Museum campus. They have a breakfast buffet that could be purchased if not booked with the room. Very authentic Netherlands fare(bacon, eggs, holland pancakes) as well as coffee juices and fresh fruit. The hotel rents bikes. Very satisfied with our choice to stay here. Thanks Hotels.com. Once again a wonderful success for our travels.

Fine but not great. No reason to return

Nice hotel, clean, tidy and well maintained with good facilities in the room. Located in quiet, safe area within walking distance of the city centre and tram stops nearby for travelling across the city. Perfect for a short stay to see the sites of Amsterdam, think continental breakfast was available but we booked room only and plenty of local eating options by the hotel.

Wonderful location. Comfortable bed and room.

Beautiful hotel. We stayed only one night. The beds were very comfortable. I didn’t like the shower much. No shelves and no shower door. Other than that the location is 40 minutes from the city center which is great.

Travelled with children. Quadruple Room was okay. Everything in the room was very dusty. The biggest turn off was the attitude of some of the staff. Did not feel as though they cared much about helping guests.

Visually, It is an older hotel. Location is good wih a great transit system that get get u anywhere in the city. The walking distance to certain attractions was good. Neighborhood is safe. We had a room that was spacious for 3 adults. We did not opt into the breakfast buffet. Not many amenities. Good bang for your buck. Amsterdam is an expensive city
