The room was clean and efficient. A/c was heat and location was wonderful. Staff was warm and friendly. Breakfast wasn’t included, but it could have been an add on for a fee. We would stay again and we recommend. The also have an apartment home that sleeps up to six with kitchen available near the Spanish Steps.

I never write reviews, but this hotel must be shared. The hotel and location were unbelievably breathtaking. I can’t say enough about The host, Laura, she made us feel at home immediately, she was extremely helpful and provided every detail, definitely an over the top A+ experience. If you want to stay within arms reach of the colosseum, this is definitely the place. Without a doubt the only hotel I will ever stay at when in Rome.

Very nice place and perfect location

Hotel Colosseo was in a great location. We were able to look out our window and see the Colosseum which was amazing. The host was so friendly and clear with communication and check-in. We loved being able to walk to many landmarks and amazing restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Excelente ubicación para tu siguiente visita a Roma. Estás enfrente del coliseo de Roma todo serca y muy conveniente. El lugar muy limpio y muy amable la dueña, 100% recomendado!

We stayed in The Panoramic View room and had an incredible view of the Colosseum, the room was clean and had a nice big bathroom. Location was incredible and Laura was spectacular. Her attention to detail prior to arrival was great, she was helpful throughout our stay and always available. Would highly recommend this room!!

The only positive thing I can say about this stay was the proximity to the Colosseum. Passed that, our room smelled of raw sewage. The “ courtyard.” view offered views of dead plants, concrete bags, and also reeked of human feces. We were welcomed on our first morning at 7 o’clock to renovations being performed on the floor below us. Jackhammering, chiseling and hammering made for a pleasant wake up call. The toilet didn’t flush completely and the shower was constructed for someone under 5 feet tall. Would have much rather stayed a bit farther away, but in an actual hotel. Not to mention the Wi-Fi did not work so we were left with no Internet.

Amazing room right across the street from the Colosseum. You will not be disappointed

The view was amazing. Looked right at colosseum. Laura was the most perfect host. Answered questions immediately. Gave directions to everywhere we needed. Room was very clean. Loved the stay!
