Absolutely loved our stay at Secret Garden and honestly struggled to find anything to fault. We stayed in one of the poolside bungalows which was incredibly spacious, spotless and set in such a beautiful, relaxing setting. Being only around 10 minutes from the airport made transfers so easy, but once you’re there it still feels peaceful and tucked away. The food was some of the best we had during our Thailand trip and the atmosphere in the evenings was lovely too — live music, themed food nights, unlimited tacos, happy hour… it always felt like there was something going on without ever being too busy or loud. Also a special mention for the hotel dog, who completely stole my heart and may or may not have received a saved rasher of breakfast bacon every morning. Would happily stay here again.

We loved this place. Overall it met our needs. It was beach front, quaint, lots of vegetation, fun bungalows, overall great.

Staff was great and the location worked out great. Once you walk through the resort doors you don't hear the busy road outside.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an amazing stay at Secret Garden Beach Resort in Koh Samui! The room was beautiful, modern, and very private, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant had delicious, reasonably priced food, and if you want to explore, there are plenty of other great eating options nearby, including convenience stores like 7-Eleven just steps away. The beach is absolutely stunning, with easy access right from the resort. The front desk helped us book day trips to nearby islands, making everything smooth and hassle-free—they know which piers to use and provide good prices, which is such a time-saver. While I would have loved kayak rentals nearby, and jet skis and hydroboards are pricey (though fun to watch!), the massages were very reasonable, and the pool is cute, even if most people will spend their time on the beach. The hotel decor is gorgeous, and walking through the property feels like stepping into a lush, peaceful oasis. The bathrooms were beautiful, and the free breakfast was excellent—no need to pre-order, just enjoy it when you’re ready. The staff went above and beyond, including helping my group get to a day trip on short notice, which was amazing. The casual, relaxed vibe of the resort makes it feel welcoming and stress-free. Overall, this resort offers great value, stunning beach access, excellent food, and amazing staff. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Samui!

Great staff

The Secret Garden is a gem, with beautifully kept grounds, and pool. Our poolside bungalow was unique and spacious. The restaurant/bar with live entertainment is an asset. And being steps away from the beach was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Pleasant, quiet, hotel right on the beach. Breakfast was expensive. Room was comfortable, Wi-Fi worked well. Nice beach, small pool, excellent staff.
