Typical German hotel breakfast, which is to say fantastic.

Shame there is no restaurant anymore. Good selection for breakfast, all nicely laid out but the hot food - scrambled egg, bacon, sausage had been on display for a long time and was cold. Parking very expensive.

The hotel staff were helpful and they changed my room when there was a issue with the shower without much problems.

Comfortable lodging in a historic building in an excellent location steps from the train station and across the street from Lake Constance. Excellent service. Outstanding breakfast in a beautiful setting.

Convenient to railway station (no noise noticed during our stay). Right on the promenade. Bar was completely closed on a Monday, so no snacks or drinks other than a vending machine. For an otherwise lovely hotel this was a bit disappointing.

Excellent friendly staff that are polite and very helpful, any questions I had were answered quickly and comprehensively. For your information, for the local tourist hotel tax you are required to pay you are entitled to a BODO card which gives you free travel on most buses and trains over a huge area. The public transport system is excellent and the hotel is just a short walk from the main bus and train station. The self service breakfast gives you a good selection to start your day, there is a restaurant also on site but I didn’t use it. The bar was good with the barman able to knock up a multitude of cocktails,, from what I witnessed. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable and perfect for me. There was a small fridge also where you could store some food and drink. There is car parking available for a fee, I'd advise informing them when you book but it is a reasonable charge in my opinion. There are also garages that can be booked, I only became aware of this on arrival and seeing cycle tourists storing their bicycles in there. Right by the promenade for pleasant walks and easy access to numerous restaurants it is an ideal choice in my book. Would I stay again? Without doubt.
