Great spot, excellent service and very spacious rooms - perfect for the family

Nice property with just a few little niggles. The shower hot water would run cold whenever someone ran the tap at the same time. The bathroom facilities were quite old. The spa pool outside has a very deep plunge section that is not signposted. My husband fell in, not realising how deep it was and cut his thumb and had to go to A&E. My six year old then also walked to the other side of the spa pool and suddenly went under the water and I had to rescue him. The other outdoor pools were a tepid temperature which were too cold for our Winter stay. We were hoping for outdoor hot pools so it would be great if they could be a bit hotter in Winter. But apart from those things we had a decent enough stay.

Stunning place to stay. Hosts are super friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t stay else where if I come to Taupo again. The views are just simply stunning. This is Hotel standard. I’ll give it 6 stars if I could!

Lovely place, very comfortable stay. Clean and extremely well maintained

We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. Peter was incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The staff were absolutely lovely, beautiful property and sparkling clean.

Spar pool was excellent. We will come back again.

We liked the view of the lake from the hot tub and from our deck in the morning. We were given proper milk for our coffee in the morning and excellent facilities for our meal in the evening. The size of the room was also excellent.

A very well maintained property. Beautiful view. Great hot pools. Very friendly and helpful owners. Warm and comfortable room and bed.

Great place
