Broken Fixtures, Unfriendly Staff, No backup at hotel

Location was great, staff was amazing but the hotel room was very warm out… dents and scratches on the doors, shower floor was all scratched and looked dirty. It’s been somewhat renovated but not well done.

Lovely hotel, very central location within Banff

Right downtown. Walk to anything. Super comfortable bed. Convenient restaurant and bar right on main level.

Spacious, within walking distance to pretty much everything- shopping and restaurants…and most importantly, just right across the street, the Banff High School, the Roam bus stop for our Superpass tickets to both Lake Louise & Moraine Lake….

Great location

Maintenance is lacking…at least in our room…the doors look like they’ve been around for the past 50 years and just painted (poorly), the shaving mirror looks like it’s ready to fall off the wall, the exhaust vent in the washroom is the original…again looking 50 years old, the heating baseboard is falling apart……although they have done upgrades they failed in not completing them (likely to reduce costs). The main entrance and amenities are excellent and recently upgraded giving you the impression when you walk in that it’s a great hotel, but failed when it comes to the rooms. Overall I was not impressed, especially for the price they’re charging.
