Great location opposite the lake.

My room looked recently renovated. It was clean. It was equipped with taster, har dryer etc. Beds were comfortable. Property location is great.

Our room had the quietest door between ensuite and bedroom that I have ever encountered. It was great as I am a night riser. They kindly made up our room each day, but without making the beds. It was great being within walking distance of eateries/town.

Motel is well situated for lake view, and fairly priced in comparison to neighbouring properties. Spa bath was a welcome addition for weary muscles. Ammenities adequate with plenty of kitchen utensils. However layout made cooking and dish-washing tricky. No kitchen table indoor or outdoor so had to use coffee table. While spacious, this aging property is overdue for a refresh. While our information sheet said the units were serviced daily, ours was not, even though we displayed the housekeeping sign - which made our return after a long day not as relaxing as we would have expected. The office person was friendly when we arrived.

Very close to town and all dining and amenities. On the lake but the rooms do not face the lake, ie. the design is end on. Very clean room with good amenities

The property was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There was no staff for check-in apparently due to a NZ wide staff shortage. A written note was left for me about changing the method of payment but no one responded via the Expedia messaging app. A staff member did show up in the evening eventually just to process the payment.

The room was clean, no staff on sight apart from cleaners for duration due to being short staffed throughout the country. Didn't have a mountain view. Didn't stay long enough to use the laundry but it all was clearly marked out.

Beds were of the old style springs, not comfortable for two with regards to partner disturbance, lucky there was a single bed in the room too, otherwise we both would have had minimal sleep. The rooms were very clean tidy and looked like had a recent refurbish, comfortable arm chairs in the mini seating area. There was a portable induction cooktop supplied to use on the bench, but there was not enough ventilation for cooking anything, there was a standard bathroom type extraction fan in the ceiling but it was in no way strong or sufficient enough to get rid of cooking smells, we only cooked once due to this. Surely a proper cooking extractor fan over the cooking area would be a requirement? The air conditioner was great kept our rooms nicely cool at night and warmed us well when needed in the morning. Friendly cleaning staff.

Although there were no staff to meet us, checking in was seamless. Everything about the room was well organised and it was very comfortable. We recommend this hotel as it is one of the best we've ever stayed in.
