Was not cleaned before we arrived. Dead bugs all over. Sewer smell in bathroom and egg smell throughout. Dirty windows caked with dead flies and dirt. Black gunk / mould in washing machine door. Underwear from previous guests left in washing machine. Bbq and toaster too dirty to use. No paper towel or dish towels provided. No fire wood or picnic table provided.
We thought we booked a stand alone cabin - The most expensive they offer. But it was actually attached to a bike rental business of some kind. Also close to highway/noise.

It was absolutely wonderful. We had an amazing stay and spent a few dreamlike days there. Everything was perfect, and we truly enjoyed our time.

The Cabin were very nice and the mattress is soft. They have a pool, pickle ball court, putting area and playground for kids. Each cabin has its own charcoal grill, picnic table and they have an outdoor gear rental spot. There’s also a gas station nearby and view of the Zion Rockies. The facility has five more new built cabins and expanding. This lodge will be very popular soon and it’s only half an hour away from Zion national park. Also, it’s a 10 minute drive from Zion Canyon Hot Springs, great spot after hiking. I highly recommend this lodge to everyone and pretty sure my family will come back and stay again on our next visit.

Everything went smooth from beginning to end. The only issue was a scheduled power outage by the local electrical company; they had no control over that.

This is our second year coming to gooseberry and Everytime they have never failed to be accommodating, friendly and helpful. We love staying here. And the added pool and hot tub are an excellent addition to the wonderful amenities they offered. Thank you gooseberry lodge.
