Great location

Great location Excellent breakfast Safe Friendly staff

Amazing hotel, staff, and amenities. Their attention to detail is unprecedented New favorite for all future visits to Madrid!

This is our second stay at this hotel, and the second stay was just as amazing as the first! The staff is so incredibly helpful--not in your face or pushy, but there when you need them and very kind. We selected the Red Level again, and we loved the separate lounge area (and took advantage of it). This has become our go-to hotel when in Madrid! Oh, and we loved the bath tub. :)

Me encanta, siempre que voy a Madrid me quedo en Palacio de los Duques, es mi favorito

Very comfortable stay in luxurious surroundings and perfect spot to walk around the sights of the City. We especially loved the Red Level lounge and the rooftop pool and jacuzzi! We will be back again!

I felt special from the moment I arrived. The staff were amazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Would highly recommend.

A Palace in Every Sense of the Word Staying at the Palacio de Los Duques Gran Meliá isn’t just a hotel experience — it’s a full immersion into old-world grandeur with every modern luxury you could ask for. From the moment we arrived on Cuesta de Santo Domingo and were greeted with a genuine “welcome home,” we knew this was going to be something special. The Breakfast — An Experience Unto Itself I’ve stayed at luxury hotels across Europe, but the breakfast here stands in a category of its own. The spread is extraordinary — beautifully presented, with an impressive range of fresh pastries, Iberian charcuterie, artisan cheeses, made-to-order eggs, and seasonal fruit that actually tasted like it was picked that morning. What elevated it beyond a standard hotel buffet, though, was the attentiveness of the dining staff. Champagne was offered without hesitation, coffee was refreshed before you even noticed your cup was half empty, and every team member moved with a quiet efficiency that never felt intrusive. We lingered for nearly two hours — and felt no rush to leave. Customer Service That Sets the Standard The team here operates at a level I’d compare to the finest Ritz-Carlton properties — warm without being performative, professional without being stiff. Our concierge was a genuine gem: thoughtful restaurant recommendations (with honest opinions about what to skip), help navigating local transport, and follow-through on every small request.

Amazing experience. The hotel is very nice, staff is wonderful and breakfast was great

This was the BEST hotel I've ever stayed in. EVERYTHING and EVERYONE was just perfect.
