We had a great short break at the Queen’s Hotel. Perfectly located, with decent car parking and lovely large rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the free homemade cookies were a nice touch. Overall, a great place to stay for a family getaway.

一般 The hotel needs to round off the handles on the room doors. Mine was razor-sharp and when I checked in the door handle cut my little finger halfway up its length. Since door handles are often handled by dirty hands, they are a vector for disease and it’s just a matter of time until the hotel faces a major lawsuit. The attached photo shows the length of the cut after four days of healing.

Beautifully clean, large room, however, we stayed during the bank holiday heatwave and the air con wasn't working. A portable air con unit had been placed in the room but wasn’t enough for such a large space. Unable to open windows, so had a sleepless night due to the unbearable heat.
Huge room, great shower and very comfortable bed.
We also stayed for breakfast which was amazing!
Beautiful hotel just a shame that we chose a boiling hot weekend to stay.
