It was cool outside and there was fan, but would have preferred AC. Staff was very helpful, pleasant and excellent location.

Great location. Standard room as booked was nothing like pictures, smelly, bad bed and rubbish bin next door for bar bottles that went on quite late. Complained and were upgraded for the next two nights to a Riverview room that was very comfortable. Bar and service and staff were excellent, however property is showing signs of age. Carrying luggage up half levels was also not much fun. No food availiable as chef had gone missing.

This hotel was not not one that I would go back to visit. The view was nice and I understand it is an old building, but it was the small things, such as the pumps for the soaps and shampoos were all unusable. The closet was so full and looked as though someone had just shoved extra blankets etc into it. Just overall felt very un-cared for all around.

Easy to access what Inverness had to offer,

This is an old property that needs to be refreshed. The floors are creaky and the rooms not sound proof. The room was also stuffy. A disappointment for sure. We should have booked somewhere else. Breakfast was ok except large bus tours both nights gobbled up the food.

The reason I gave this place a 5 star is because their staff was really amazing. I accidentally booked a week later than what I wanted and showed up to the hotel with no booking for that day. They got me to rebook and refunded me for the original booking even though they have a no refunds policy. Very kind of them to do that.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Excellent location downtown. We walked to everything downtown we wanted to see!!!

The room and view were nice, but we almost wished we had stayed at the back of the hotel because the noise of people on the street all night woke us a few times. The bed was not the most comfortable and there was chipping paint. The location was amazing for walking around town. I just expected a little higher quality for the price.

Perfect location. A little dated but, hey it’s a classic old building. Would definitely stay again

Room stunk. Small. Breakfast was pretty below average for most hotels. Lots of nice cafes around. Much better to go out. Parking “reimbursement” is just a voucher for the pub next door so do that we’ll be fore you leave. I’m sure there are better options for slightly more money.
