Staff at the front desk were kind and helpful. Hotel was in a decent location and was an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was worth the additional cost.

Okay experience for price

Hotel Britannia completely turned my trip around. It was exactly what I needed after a stressful start in Rome. As a solo traveler visiting Rome for the first time, I was looking for a hotel where I could feel safe, welcomed, and comfortable, and Hotel Britannia exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. After a stressful experience elsewhere, their hospitality immediately put me at ease. The check-in process was smooth, and it was such a relief to have a knowledgeable front desk available to answer questions and offer assistance. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. My room was exactly what I needed after long days of exploring the city. Air conditioning (which was greatly appreciated during the summer heat) and a comfy bed to get a great night’s sleep. The location was another highlight. I found it easy to reach many of Rome’s major attractions, and there were plenty of restaurants and transportation options nearby. It was the perfect home base for exploring the city. What stood out most, though, was how the staff made me feel. Traveling alone internationally can be intimidating, but they created an environment where I felt welcomed and cared for. If you’re visiting Rome, especially as a solo traveler, I would absolutely recommend Hotel Britannia. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next trip.

Really great stay however breakfast is very basic and awkward as there is no atmosphere

Charming hotel, great welcome and helpful staff. Room was clean, quiet but a little bit small (to be expected in central Rome I guess). Very small single lift, average breakfast. Location okay. Use Uber to get around

Overall stay was ok, good location, friendly staff and clean comfortable room. The hotel is just extermely old and outdated.

Hotel is centrally located which makes getting from the train station and then walking to all the big attractions easy.

Beautiful hotel in a great area. I walked everywhere I went. Staff was amazing and incredibly pleasant. I was a solo traveler and they provided a map of different areas, pathways to take, and different experiences I would have. I would absolutely stay again.

Great location as fairly central to attractions and not too far from the railway station. Would recommend a travel multi plug. Air con worked very well and handy supermarket at the end of the road, opposite a delicious small pizza restaurant. Colosseum, Spanish steps walkable and the Vatican an easy tube journey away. Helpful staff who reset the safe so that it worked. Breakfast was amazing with a great choice of foods - cereals, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, hams, juice, coffee, cakes…
