Great overall except paying for parking

The reviews that complained about this place must have been nothing but straight up haters! My first "outing" after cancer treatment and the hotel was amazing... the front desk were courteous and house keeping even was nice to my grand son that came with wife and I. If there was a complaint , it would be ppl that had no business parking in handicap parking were parked in assigned spots most of weekend...management should check that occasionally as sometimes it was hard for me to get though garage and parking lot.

The rooms were spotless and so fantastic to check-in to after a hot day at the zoo. The staff was receptive and helpful, even working with us to check in early! Pool was great, food was wonderful. Beds and room temp could not have been better. I was surprised that the televisions did not offer any way to order a movie for the kids or use smart technology to cast from our phones. Even in the most rural Iowa towns, this amenity is standard. It was an unexpected hiccup to an otherwise delightful stay.

This Hilton location is outstanding. We always enjoy the stay here except for the mattress quality. They need to update/replace the old and hard mattresses. Also, the bar/coffee staff is always curt and a bit rude. Other than those two things, the hotel is fantastic!
