Hotel charges a $50-$100 card hold which is absolutely absurd because to test a card you only need to do a zero dollar transaction. The money is also held for a full 31 days, which means that you do not have access to those funds. Stuff at check-in was entirely dismissive. Room was also not made up and the only excuse given was an apology that it was missed, which is entirely unacceptable. Hotel is in an alley and there are many homeless people at night and given that the rooms are not soundproof, all the noise comes in. Not a safe location at night especially in Melbourne CBD.

Excellent staff , young tall thin man who served me on the desk was excellent . Very central for CBD . Disappointed that there was no bar or no info in room about WiFi etc .

People were nice but the sliding glass door at the entrance is dangerous. I walked in to it and was left with a nice bruise and headache

Great location, so close to shopping, transport, and Melbourne’s city landmarks and tourist hotspots. Always love staying there.

Very much centrally situated with lots of tram routes. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable and quiet.

So quiet and the rooms a really dark so a good sleep in is easy, Central location is perfect, walk or tram to everything

Great location and room was very quite on the 2nd floor even on a Friday night, which matters a lot to me. Comfortable enough.

Easy to find, modern facilities, good value.
