Amazing hotel. Very helpful staffs. Great rooms.

Fabulous hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern. Beautiful pool area. Restaurants offered lots of options. All of them great.

The interior and exterior of the building represent Yogyakarta itself. Hospitality, politeness and helpful staff, and I love the breakfast with plenty of options from local culinary to western food.

First of all, the staff is great, but the facility is showing its age. Problems encountered: broken toilet, non-functionig USB ports, AC thermostat only levels were Frozen or Off. Similarly, the mini fridge froze our water, shattering the glass bottle and making a big mess. The room seems to have no soundproofing. For the balcony rooms, the biggest problem is location. The hotel is situated between multiple mosques so the 0430 prayers blast into the room. This is followed by a couple of hours of rooster crowing competition. Food prices were good for a hotel, but the taste was lacking. So, be prepared with non-hotel food options. Room cleaning staff were on top of their game. They scrubbed everything down and tidied up while we were out.

Spa was excellent

A grand old beauty of a hotel in lush, peaceful setting with a fabulous pool. We didn’t like our room due to a smell of sewage but the staff promptly changed us to a lovely, quiet room with a terrace & great view. Once in our new room everything was fabulous. The staff were especially helpful, kind & happy. I would definitely stay again.

Nice place

It’s a quite beautiful setting and hotel, but it has a lot of creases to iron out. Very few staff speak any English. I had an issue in that my taxi did not arrive on time and, because the concierge could only understand “taxi” I had to go to the lobby to be understood, but there’s often a line and they seem understaffed. Wi-Fi in the room was useless like 56kbps internet. The lighting switches in the room were oddly arranged and the AC fan is loud. All small things, but the devils in the detail. Also, it’s not within walking distance of anything.

The hotel was old, water from shower was very weak. Overall, disappointing
