Very friendly and helpful staff

There are a range of accommodation options at the resort. Villas with their own private pool were great the main hotel was a bit dated. Good restaurant and pool and access to a relatively private beach. Good location to base yourself from.

Luckily we were given an upgrade to a poolside room which overlooked the pool (obviously) and out to sea. Lovely. The quite spacious room itself was very clean with towels replaced regularly and the terrace outside perfect for a morning or afternoon drink. Breakfast was pretty good with plenty of choice and the staff were excellent.

Always great staying at montien, staff are always helpful..IV stayed here meney time's and always recommend to my friends Michael beech

I can say that staying at Montien House Chaweng Beach Resort was one of the best choices in Koh Samui. The resort is perfectly located in the heart of Chaweng Beach, and almost everything is within walking distance, including nightlife, restaurants, shopping areas, and entertainment shows. The location makes it very convenient and enjoyable for visitors who want to experience the best of Chaweng Beach. Regarding the resort itself, the room was very clean throughout my stay. Even during several rainy and stormy days, everything was cleaned immediately and maintained very well. The resort also has a good-sized swimming pool and direct beachfront access, which made the experience even more relaxing and enjoyable.

All of the staff went the extra mile to make our stay truly rememberable

I was greeted at reception by lovely welcoming staff. I did book a room online which looked quite modern. They said they were upgrading me to a bigger room. The room I got had sea views and was huge. It wasn’t as modern but was perfect. Spacious, really clean and nicely appointed. The cleaning staff did a brilliant job each day. The hotel is nicely located. The only minor thing I’d pick out was the pool itself could do with freshening up. I think other people have suggested this in reviews too. Otherwise it is right on the beach and I didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked great. Everything you need for a conformatble stay is here and I’m glad I booked it. This was my first time in Samui and I would definitely stay here again if I return.

Amazing location. Plenty of restaurant and bar options. Duomo on the same Street is very good authentic Italian. We had a bungalow. The only complaint I have is the pool was green. BUT I didn’t come here for the green pol I came for the perfect blue ocean and the mailed it. Also nice restaurant on property.

This was going to be a 3 star review but the last few days I was there the pool water turned green rendering the pool unusable so now this is a 2 star review. It was still green when I left and that’s going on day 3. The room furniture and decor are all dated but functional and nothing really wrong with them, but the plumbing fixtures need some attention (the toilet worked on and off, the rain shower head leaked so could only use the handheld one). The room also smelled like used cat litter but I wasn’t able to find the cat or the litter. Maybe it’s gecko pee. The staff were all super friendly and tremendous. Cannot speak to the restaurant there as I didn’t try it. The location of Montien House couldn’t be better, right on the beach, and close to absolutely everything in chaweng. I didn’t hear any noise from the main chaweng area nor any of the other guests. Not at all the hotels fault, but he entire chaweng area is on the airport flight path for departures so be prepared for plenty of noise from departing flights.

Needs softer beds in cottages if you plan to stay awhile
