There is no AC in the bedrooms of the suite.

The room was outdated and the floors were filthy. The carpet was dirty and the floors sticky. The AC did not work very well. The location of our room was near the public beach which was noisy all night long. They also had 2 wedding going on in our building Friday and Saturday night which was noisy also. There is no security and the doors were open to our building so people can just and go as they please. The pool and beach area was nice but no one came around to clean up. Very disappointed in this place for the price.

Had a nice trip with friends. Staff was very nice and friendly. Restaurant was great! Part of the property was pretty dated.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and nice. Only recommendation would be to upgrade the air conditioner because the one in the room was loud and didn’t cool the room very well.

Left after 1st night. Do not stay here! We booked a clean hotel in San Diego rather than spend any more time at Bahia "Resort." The location is misrepresented online. Behind the back fence is a public beach full of people living in cars, motorhomes, tents, etc. One actually caught on fire the night we were there. It was the vehicle with weed smoking occupants we saw when we thought it would be a good idea to look around the property. It was not a good idea to do this! The main building with many rooms is not secure. It is left open for anyone to walk in. The Beach and Boat club is a joke. The vending area is old and dirty. Mold is growing in the ice machine. The pool midday was littered with old towels and garbage. In the hallway to our room, the tiles were sticky and dirty. The bathroom fan, which is admittedly a pet peeve of mine, was dirty. The bathroom was so small you had to close the door to use the toilet or shower. The flooring had a cheap feel and was dirty. As for the room, it was small. The sheets felt weirdly sticky causing a night of no sleep which was exacerbated by the air conditioner blowing directly at the bed and light showing through a gap in the curtains. The "beach" is not The Beach. It is an inlet with a marina where gas and scum cover the water. We were also charged the resort fees by Bahia after we'd already paid them with our Expedia package.

The place was ok, but dated and rooms were not very clean. The air conditioner was full of black mold. Carpets were also very dirty. We stayed in the family suit. The only areas that we loved were the beach and the restaurant at the beach. I wish they would make more effort to update the rooms. Otherwise very kid friendly and ok if you plan to not spend too much time in the rooms.

Could use stronger pest control and quieter air conditioning. Otherwise we loved the pool, Bianchi, and the location
